Oil Seal TC / TB (Lip Seal)
phớt dầu TC/TB
Also known as: TC oil seal · TB oil seal · lip seal · shaft seal · rotary shaft seal
TC and TB oil seals are double-lip and single-lip rotary shaft seals with a spring-loaded PTFE or rubber primary lip — standardised in metric sizes per ISO 6194 / JIS B2402 for rotating shaft sealing.
Technical Detail
TC (double lip, with garter spring and dust lip) and TB (single lip with garter spring, no dust lip) are the two most common rotary shaft seal types. Construction: metal outer case (press-fit into housing bore), rubber body (NBR, FKM, or EPDM), primary sealing lip loaded by a coiled garter spring, and on TC models a secondary dust exclusion lip without spring. Dimensions follow ISO 6194 / DIN 3760 / JIS B2402: shaft diameter (d) × bore diameter (D) × width (B). Example: TC 40×60×10 = 40 mm shaft, 60 mm housing bore, 10 mm wide. Shaft surface finish: Ra 0.2–0.5 µm (ground or honed); surface hardness ≥ 45 HRC at lip contact zone to resist wear. Shaft speed: NBR TC up to 6 m/s surface speed; FKM TC up to 10 m/s. Temperature: NBR –40°C to +120°C; FKM –20°C to +200°C. Install with lip facing the oil side; pack lip with compatible grease before fitting.
